Instruction
Create three artworks that imply "renewal of life" or "cultural
celebration".
Progress
I chose renewal of life as the theme and decided to draw a sci-fi pink dessert
with a dessert girl holding a frame that shows a futuristic city.
Fig 1 progress to the final Design
I decided to draw a whole design instead of three independent designs. I used
the following color palette for the design as shown in Fig 1 the pink shade
for the dessert, the left-most brown for the rocks and mountains, the middle
brown for the human skin, the blue for the dress, and the green for the
plants. I wanted to make it Poppin' but subtle so that matches the pink color,
I am a huge fan of pastel shades.
Fig 2 Final Design
I fixed the background and added a light source as a sun and also a gradient
to the sky and wrapped up the final design.

Reflection
Although despite my prior Illustrator skills, I mostly used pen tools because it was the simplest method to build my design. But after a few weeks of studying how to utilize the fundamental pen tools, pathfinder, form builder, etc., I was able to use those tools to produce more intriguing images. I did quite enjoy coming up with the idea and the process of working on it as well.
