Introduction

One of the most significant hieroglyphs in ancient Egypt was The Eyes of Horus. Something to do with the moon and how she is depicted, such as the Udju green paint. The most well-known contemporary eye makeup techniques are based on those used in Ancient Egypt.

The wedjat eye's form originally developed in the late Old Kingdom and was created up to the Roman era. Amulets were commonly worn by ancient Egyptians, and the Eye of Horus was one of the most frequently seen designs.

Ancient Egyptian Makeup

The two major types of eye makeup were black khol and green eye paint known as udju.
Products used were Galena: A dark grey ore and crushed charcoal.

Mesdemet or Khol was used to line the eyes, and research has shown that it has powerful health advantages, including protection from illness and insects, and sunlight.

Cats eye Makeup

Cleopatra wore thick, wrap-around liner around her eyes in Ancient Egypt, which is where the cat-eye originated. Women created thick, green, and black flicks that dramatically framed the eyes using materials like malachite and copper ore.

Egyptians used cosmetics for more than just beautifying their appearances; they also used them for religious purposes, utilitarian purposes, or symbolic purposes. Eyeliner served as both a fashion statement and a means of protection from the Evil Eye in ancient Egypt.

Part 1 - Research

We settled on the Egyptian Culture Subtitle: The Pyramid of Egypt for our research proposal. They were gonna be delivered during week four. And the instructor assured us that the subject was not culturally based. So we began work on a new study project that was based on hieroglyphs in the EYES OF HORUS rather than Egyptian.

Some of the proposals we did,

Built of limestone as a royal mausoleum in ancient Egypt, the Pyramids are imposing buildings with a square or triangular base and sloping sides that culminate at a point at the summit. A location for the burial of Djoser, King Khufu, and others. Royal graves were excavated into the rock and covered with "mastabas," flat-roofed rectangles that predated the pyramids. Constructed when Egypt was one of the world's richest and most powerful civilizations. The enormous pyramids of Giza are among the most stunning man-made buildings in history, together with the other pyramids.

We came up with another research proposal which was Egyptian hieroglyphs in the Eyes of Horus,

The legend of Osiris is where it all starts. The most well-known Egyptian mythology is this one. It depicts the ongoing conflict between the good and the bad as well as the good, the bad, and the punishment. Osiris, also known as the God of the Underworld but more correctly regarded as the God of Transition, Resurrection, and Regeneration, was the oldest son of the earth god Get and the sky goddess. Isis, Set, and Nephthys were Osiris' three siblings' children. As was the norm at the time, Osiris wed his sister Isis and gave birth to Horus in ancient Egypt. The narrative began when Set, according to ancient Egyptian customs, assassinated Osiris to take the throne, causing disorder and chaos. He then proceeded to cut Osiris' body into 14 parts that were scattered around ancient Egypt. Set's violence did not end after killing Osiris. The deceased's body had to be properly embalmed and interred in the royal. Over the years, the Eye of Horus has served as a metaphor for a number of things, including "Eye of the Mind," "Eye of the Third Eye," "Eye of the Truth or Insight," and "the Eye of God Within the Human Mind." Ancient Egyptians named the Eye of Horus all of these titles because they thought it had mystical abilities.

The 1/4 represents sight, the 1/8 represents thinking, the 1/16 represents hearing, the 1/64 represents the taste, and the 1/2 accounts for the sense of smell. Remarkably, each component correlates to sections of human neuroanatomical characteristics when we superimpose these indicated components over the mid-sagittal picture of the human brain.
