Simple and unconventional

I tried to keep the key artwork very simple and inspiring the brand like Yves Saint Laurent. It says Hi am or Ham originally consisting 4 letters from my name Hisham. I tried giving the animated movie Incredibles logo a look and tried making a very sleek design.

Expansion

-Animation

I decided to emphasize the letter I and the rest of the letter forms take place seamlessly in a smooth motion.

-Exploration

The color palette I chose is very simple and there's a contrast between the blue and off-white.

Fig: Ham Cigarette mockup (21/05/2023)

I attempted a very simple t-shirt mockup as in Fig and a cigarette mockup with small illustrations of the smoke matching the color palette, even though the orange buds are a bit distracting.

Fig: Hisham's Instagram page

I tried giving a simple look by creating an x color of feed with the same background color, as well as the bottom and a top left-hand and center post having a bold isolated mockup while for the right-hand side posts, I tried minimal illustrations.

Feedback

The Instagram layout is clashing with all the panels that are repeating and too much of the brand logo being portrayed.

Reflection

Experience: My experience has been profoundly changed by studying important works of art. I've learned how effective visual communication can be, as well as how to capture a person's soul in a single sign. My understanding of significant artwork and logo design has been informed by my study of letterforms, the pursuit of simplicity and originality, and the appreciation of adaptability and plasticity. As I continue to grow and learn in this always-evolving industry, I'm happy to come across new opportunities and create potent artworks and logos that resonate with people and have an impact that lasts.

Observation: I have been learning about the design of significant pieces of artwork, and it's been a very fulfilling experience. I gained knowledge of typography, the use of shapes, negative space, colors, the adaptive design process, and the value of contextual flexibility. I also learned how to strike a balance between simplicity and distinctiveness. I'm motivated to keep developing my abilities, pushing boundaries, and creating art that has a significant impact and accurately represents the spirit of companies in light of these observations and reflections.

Findings: Key artwork design calls for a blend of artistic aptitude, meticulousness, and narrative communication skills. In particular, when it comes to typography, learning never stops. There are a great many possibilities to look into and learn about. I've discovered that good design involves more than just aesthetics. Knowing the brand, communicating its personality through typography, and leaving an enduring impact on the audience are all important components. I get so fascinated with typography and find new ways to get creative whenever I begin a new project.
