FINAL REFLECTION

I enjoyed the whole design principles assignment, each time I work on any design I challenge myself to create a new style of artwork so I can be better in every upcoming project. This class has given me a very good idea about using design techniques as well as the feedback from each class was very helpful for me to learn from my mistakes and improve them. Coming up with an idea for the tasks was the difficult part had to go through a lot of visual references and plan on implementing them specifically in my work. Sense of place was one of the tasks that I enjoyed the most because it was like implementing art based on my workspace which I had in my mind as well as the self-portrait also helped me to give a thorough look at my interests and likes. I really enjoyed the freedom to express myself through designs, I am very bad at writing so it helped me to express myself through artwork instead of words. I had trouble focusing on specific design principles like the gestalt theory which requires a lot of thinking of implementing two designs into one and will definitely try to work on that. Design principles have helped me learn to make decisions consistently and to find solutions for challenging problems.
